In preparation for the arrival of their first baby, the client wanted to update an existing cottage on their property for their extended family to stay long term. For the renovation, we used color, pattern, and texture for a new spin on traditional style. The cottage, built in 1910, was in great need of restoring. We updated all finishes, floors, and added new millwork and hardware, in addition to converting an existing powder room to a full bath. The main design challenge was to maximize space, so we included bespoke built-in cabinetry, new closet systems and custom furnishings.
