This client’s home is a 1911 traditional in Crocker Highlands.  The house had good bones but was in need of an update—especially the kitchen.  This client had a long wish list, including a bigger kitchen with more counter space, access to the outdoors, and flow to both the family room and dining room. We moved walls and switched door positioning to make it all happen, and included custom details throughout the the renovation. With the architectural changes, we were able to create a whole new deck space that brought the outdoors in. A custom casement window in the kitchen opens up to a zinc bar on the deck. Hand painted ceramic tiling, leaded glass, and all new kitchen & bathroom made the space come alive, while keeping with architectural elements that nod to the home's original design.
